Terms of purchase

These terms apply when you shop as a consumer in the Svalgården web shop. We have tried to write them so they can actually be read — and nothing here limits the rights you have under mandatory Swedish consumer law. Contracts can be concluded in Swedish and English.

Who you are buying from

The seller is Ansvar Systems AB, Swedish company reg. no. 559547-2225, VAT no. SE559547222501. Address: Ingemarsboda 565, 841 74 Fränsta, Sweden. Email: info@svalgarden.com. Phone: +46 736 207 435. Email is the fastest way to reach us.

Prices

All prices are in Swedish kronor (SEK) and include 25% Swedish VAT (the Swedish Price Information Act, prisinformationslagen 2004:347). The price you see is the final price — there are no hidden fees. Shipping is itemised separately in the cart and at checkout, and you always see the total including shipping before you confirm the purchase.

Payment

Payment is handled in Stripe Checkout, where you are redirected from the cart. You can pay by card, Swish, Klarna or PayPal. No surcharge is added based on the payment method you choose. Your card and payment details are processed entirely by Stripe and never touch our servers. Stripe emails you a receipt.

How a purchase works

  1. You pick products in the shop and add them to the cart.
  2. In the cart you can review your order, change quantities, remove items and correct any input errors before continuing (the Swedish E-commerce Act, e-handelslagen 2002:562, section 10).
  3. Stripe Checkout shows a final summary of items, shipping and the total price including VAT before you confirm.
  4. By completing the payment you place an order with an obligation to pay — a binding contract is formed (the Swedish Distance Contracts Act, distansavtalslagen 2005:59, ch. 2 s. 9).
  5. You receive an order confirmation with a receipt by email, at the latest on delivery (distansavtalslagen ch. 2 s. 4).

The order confirmation is sent on a durable medium (email) and contains the content of the contract — it is the stored record of your purchase, so keep it. Contract languages are Swedish and English.

Production and delivery

Everything in the shop is 3D printed to order here on the farm. Production takes 2–14 days and is stated on each product page. Carrier transit time comes on top: within Sweden 2–5 business days, within the EU 4–10 business days. In all cases delivery takes place at the latest within 30 days of the order (the Swedish Consumer Sales Act, konsumentköplagen 2022:260).

  • Shipping within Sweden: 59 kr — free on orders of 599 kr or more.
  • Shipping within the EU: 149 kr — free on orders of 1 499 kr or more.

We ship with PostNord or DHL from Fränsta, Sweden. More about shipping and delivery times is on the shipping & delivery page.

Right of withdrawal — 14 days

As a consumer you have a 14-day right of withdrawal from the day you (or someone you designate) receive the goods — for orders delivered in parts, from receipt of the last item (distansavtalslagen ch. 2 ss. 10 and 12). The fact that our products are made to order does not affect this: all items in the regular catalogue are standard products with the full right of withdrawal.

The easiest way to withdraw is the withdrawal button on this site — you then receive a timestamped acknowledgement by email. You may also use the model withdrawal form or give us any other clear notice, for example by email.

In short:

  • You send the goods back within 14 days of telling us you withdraw, and you bear the actual cost of return shipping.
  • We refund everything you paid, including the original standard delivery cost, within 14 days of your notice, using the same payment method you used. We may withhold the refund until the goods are back or you have shown proof of return shipment.
  • You may examine the goods as you would in a shop, but you are liable for any diminished value caused by handling beyond that (distansavtalslagen ch. 2 s. 15).

Exception for bespoke items: the right of withdrawal does not apply to goods made to your specifications or clearly personalised (distansavtalslagen ch. 2 s. 11(3); Art 16(c) Directive 2011/83/EU) — for example a print from your own 3D model or measurements, or one carrying your name or text. If we offer such orders, we do so separately and state the exception clearly before you order. It never covers our regular catalogue items.

Full details, including the model withdrawal form, are on the right of withdrawal page.

Complaints about defects — 3 years

You always have the right to complain about defects that appear within three years of receiving the goods (konsumentköplagen 2022:260, ch. 4). A defect that appears within two years is presumed to have existed at delivery, unless we can show otherwise. Complain within a reasonable time of discovering the defect — contacting us within two months is always in time.

If the goods are defective we put it right at no cost to you: primarily by repair or replacement, otherwise by a price reduction or by cancelling the purchase and refunding you, as provided by law. To complain, email info@svalgarden.com with your order number and a description (ideally with a photo) of the defect.

If we cannot agree

Always contact us first — most things can be sorted out directly. If we still cannot agree, you can turn to Allmänna reklamationsnämnden (ARN, the Swedish National Board for Consumer Disputes), Box 174, SE-101 23 Stockholm, Sweden, www.arn.se. We participate in ARN proceedings and follow the board's recommendations. ARN also handles cross-border complaints from consumers in other EU countries against Swedish traders; independent guidance is available from your local European Consumer Centre. You may also bring the matter before the ordinary courts.

How we handle your personal data is described in our privacy policy.
