Right of withdrawal & returns

As a consumer you have a 14-day right of withdrawal when you buy from us at a distance. This means you can cancel your purchase without giving any reason. This page explains how it works, what applies to the return and how you get your money back. The rules come from the Swedish Distance Contracts Act (lag (2005:59) om distansavtal och avtal utanför affärslokaler, ”distansavtalslagen”), which implements Directive 2011/83/EU — so your rights are the same as under EU consumer law.

The easiest way is to withdraw directly here on the website. Enter your name and order number, confirm that you want to withdraw, and you immediately receive a timestamped acknowledgement by email (distansavtalslagen 2 kap. 10 a §).

14-day right of withdrawal

The withdrawal period is 14 days and runs from the day you — or someone you have asked to receive the goods for you — take possession of the goods. If you ordered several items in one order and they are delivered separately, the period runs from the day you receive the last item (distansavtalslagen 2 kap. 10 and 12 §§; Art 9 Directive 2011/83/EU).

To withdraw, all you need to do is send us a clear statement before the period expires. You do not have to give a reason.

Does the right of withdrawal apply even though everything is made to order?

Yes. All products in our shop are standard items from our own catalogue. The fact that we only print them once you have ordered is simply how we work — it does not affect your right of withdrawal. You have the full 14-day right of withdrawal on everything you can order in the shop today.

The legal exception covers goods “made to the consumer's specifications or clearly personalised” (distansavtalslagen 2 kap. 11 § 3; Art 16(c) Directive 2011/83/EU). That only applies to genuinely bespoke items — for example prints made from your own drawings or measurements, or items personalised with a name or custom text. If we offer such bespoke orders in the future, we will state this clearly on the product page and in the order confirmation before you order.

The return

Send the goods back without undue delay and at the latest 14 days after you notified us of your withdrawal (distansavtalslagen 2 kap. 13 §).
You bear the direct cost of the return shipping, i.e. the actual price the carrier (e.g. PostNord or DHL) charges for the shipment. We do not add any fee of our own.

Please pack the item well — ideally in the original packaging if you still have it — and keep your drop-off receipt until the return is complete.

Refund

We refund everything you paid, including the original (standard) delivery cost, without undue delay and at the latest 14 days from the day we received your withdrawal notice (distansavtalslagen 2 kap. 14 §; Art 13 Directive 2011/83/EU).
The refund is made using the same means of payment you used for the purchase, at no cost to you.
We may withhold the refund until we have received the goods back, or until you have shown that you have sent them — for example with a drop-off receipt.
If you chose a more expensive delivery option than our standard shipping, the difference is not refunded.

If you have used the goods

You are of course allowed to examine the goods — just as you could in a physical shop: look, feel and check that they work. If you handle the goods beyond what is necessary to establish their nature, characteristics and function, you still have the right of withdrawal, but we may deduct an amount for the diminished value of the goods (distansavtalslagen 2 kap. 15 §; Art 14(2) Directive 2011/83/EU).

Good to know about the withdrawal period

The withdrawal period does not begin to run until you have received the information about the right of withdrawal that the law requires — including what is on this page and the model form. If that information were missing, your right of withdrawal is extended, but at most until one year after the period would otherwise have expired (distansavtalslagen 2 kap. 12 § fjärde stycket).
