Frequently asked questions

Short answers to the things people wonder about most. Question not here? Reach us via the contact page — we reply between chores.

How long is the delivery time?

Everything is made to order — we keep no stock gathering dust. Production takes 2–14 days depending on the product; the exact lead time is on each product page. Transit is then added on top: 2–5 business days within Sweden and 4–10 business days to the rest of the EU. Whatever happens, we always deliver within 30 days of your order at the latest — that is a promise from both us and Swedish consumer law. The full arithmetic is on the shipping & delivery page.

What does shipping cost?

Within Sweden: 59 kr, free on orders from 599 kr. To the rest of the EU: 149 kr, free from 1 499 kr. The shipping cost is shown in the cart and again at checkout — no surprises at the end.

Which materials do you use — PLA, PETG, ASA?

Three plastics, three temperaments. PLA is the stiffest and gives the most detailed prints — best kept indoors. PETG is tough and shrugs off moisture and a fair amount of UV — our workhorse for farm gear. ASA is for things that live outdoors year-round, with the best UV resistance of the three. The material each product is printed in is always stated on its product page.

Do the products tolerate dishwashers and heat?

No. Hand wash in lukewarm water and they will last a long time. 3D printed products deform in the heat of a dishwasher — and a sun-baked car can turn a print into abstract art. The products are also not intended for direct contact with food.

Can I withdraw from my purchase?

Yes. You have a 14-day right of withdrawal on everything in the catalogue — even though the items are made to order. The easiest way is our withdrawal button; the full details are on the right of withdrawal page. The exception is bespoke commissions made to your own specifications — those are not covered by the right of withdrawal.

What do I do if something is wrong with my item?

Get in touch! As a consumer you have a three-year right to complain about faulty goods. Email us at info@svalgarden.com with your order number and a description of the fault, and we will sort it out. The details are in our terms of purchase.

How do I pay?

Payment is handled securely by Stripe at checkout — choose between card, Swish, Klarna and PayPal. No surcharges or extra fees, whichever method you pick.

Do you take custom orders?

Gladly! We take on commissions for both custom-designed 3D printed parts and farm automation — the spare part that went out of production, or the gate that ought to open itself. Send a few lines via the contact page and we will come back with a proposal and a price. Just note that bespoke items are not covered by the right of withdrawal.

Who is behind the shop?

Svalgården is the farm and the brand — it is where the hens roam and the printers hum. The legal seller is Ansvar Systems AB. Full company details are on the about the farm page.
