About Svalgården
Svalgården is a farm in Fränsta, in the Medelpad region of northern Sweden. We run a working farm — and a small technology workshop. The farm stands on three legs: agriculture, 3D printing, and farm automation.
What started as printing spare parts and small fixes for our own daily life grew into a workshop that designs and manufactures real products. Most of what's in the shop was born from a concrete need right here: something missing, something broken, or something that simply ought to exist.
Everything is made to order. That means a few days' wait — but also that nothing sits gathering dust in a warehouse, and that we can adapt and improve our designs continuously.

What we do
Farming
The farm is the foundation of everything we do. Out here the seasons set the schedule — not the other way around. Every day has its routines, and every season its own list of things to fix, build and finish before the weather turns. That work is where our ideas come from: nearly everything we design and make has first been tested in our own daily life, in rain, mud and well below freezing.
3D printing & custom manufacturing
The workshop is where the printers live. Everything in the shop is made to order — no warehouse, no shelf-warmers, just the things you actually ordered. We also take commissions: if you need a part that isn't sold anywhere, a spare that has gone out of production, or an idea that needs to become an object, we'll design and print it for you.
One honest caveat: goods custom-made to your specifications are exempt from the right of withdrawal. Please read the right of withdrawal page before we get started, so we both know where we stand.
Farm automation
The third leg is automation for agriculture. We build our solutions for our own farm first — sensors, feeding, hatches and doors that look after themselves, monitoring that speaks up before something goes wrong — and then take on projects for other farms.
